Better than I could say it

paeanRemember college English essays? I struggled to write them, always finding not quite the right word or phrase to best express my thoughts. ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
regan_v seems to suffer no such problem. Or if she does, what is in her head must be amazing, because her essays and recommendations are very much what I wish I was publishing here, before the whole thought to written word translation interferes.
I stumbled across her essay Comparing SS/RL and SS/SB in Fan Fiction, written years before I knew fanfiction existed, while searching for a better archive of one of the authors she references.
It made me realize that I am taking more steps into fandom, since I was as excited to read her essay comparing the fodder for relationship building between SS/RL and SS/SB as I was to check out the stories she referenced.
Oh, and I discovered a new (to me) author! But I'm still digesting that one, so it will have to wait.
